While Arty Foster is his new owner and trainer, Tony Morgan will continue as Mister Virgin's as driver Letsmakeawish, second last week is piloted by Russell Foster. Owner-trainer Dylan Davis' Cashendash Hanover was a close third last Monday with Corey Callahan driving.
Another horse claimed last week, Myell's Rockstar, now owned by Ron Davis and trained by Brooks Gray, starts from post 9 in the second tier. Bamond Stable's Styxit To Em N, with consecutive seconds, gets Tim Tetrick to drive. Frank Chick's Carracci Hanover drew the rail with Eddie Davis Jr. in the bike.
FrankandJoanne, trained and driven by co-owner Steve Nason and partner Tom Bradford; Lew's Maverick handled by Montrell Teague for John Dickens, Kathleen Mofield and KDK Standardbreds and Easy On The Eyes N, in from two-straight wins, is in the hands of Vic Kirby for owners trainer Mark Kesmodel and Pat O'Brien complete the nine-horse field.
The card's top trot, a $12,000 Winners edition, has eight starters, all four-year-olds, two of them were winners last time out. Bill Cantrell's Gravitator (Davis Jr.) finished in a dead-heat for win while owner, trainer, driver My Big Kadillac wired the field from post 7.
