Bangor, Maine – The father and son harness racing team of Jeff and Dan Deslandes brought the sizzle to the griddle at Bangor Raceway on Wednesday (5-31), with some combination their generational talent serving up winners in five of the ten races programmed.
Driver Dan Deslandes began his five-win juggernaut with a catch drive victory behind Jaxson R Browne (1:59.2, $10.80), grinding out a well-earned first over victory for trainer Dalton Lee, in what would be the longest price generated by a Deslandes driven entry on Wednesday.

Trainer Jeff Deslandes then provided the power for his progeny, sending out the first of four consecutive winners from the family roster during the mid-portion of the afternoon card.
Nagle (1:57, $3.40) glided gate to wire around the Queen City oval to kick off the extended salvo, quickly to be followed by convincing scores from Post Time Terror (1:58, $4.60) who secured her second win in a row; Rocnrolwilneverdie (1:58.4, $3.00) who made amends for last week’s defeat by a nose while hanging on by a head; and Lydia’s Liberty (1:57.3, $2.20) who has now finished first or second in each of her last five starts.

In other Bangor Raceway news, trainer Michael Cushing sent two winners to the gate on Wednesday as Seeley Man (1:57.1, $8.60) returned to form while scoring his first win in over two seasons. Reunited with the familiar hands of pilot Ron Cushing, the win was the 41st career bow for the former two-time Maine Sire Stakes Champion.
Bailey’s Legacy (1:58.1, $4.20) capped the Cushing cavalcade by scoring her third consecutive victory, guided by regular driver, Jason Bertolini.
