Draw dates approaching for Northfield Park series

Northfield, OH – Draw dates for MGM Northfield Park’s free-to-enter fall harness racing series are fast approaching.

All four divisions of the series, separated by gait and sex, have the same conditions – Non-Winners of 2 PM races (Ohio-sired N/W 3) or $30,000 lifetime through October 11, 2023.

The events will feature four $12,000 preliminary legs and a $25,000 Final over a five-week span. Horses do not need to compete in all four preliminary legs, nor the opening leg, to compete in the Final.

First up are filly and mare trotters whose opening leg will be raced on Wednesday evening, October 25 (draw Friday morning, October 20). Next up are pacing fillies and mares with the opening leg scheduled on Sunday night, October 29 (Draw Tuesday morning, October 24), followed by pacing horses and geldings (Opening leg Monday night, October 30 – draw Wednesday morning, October 25) and finally horse and gelding trotters (opening leg Tuesday, October 31 – Draw Thursday morning, October 26).
