Cream Ridge, NJ – 1/29/2024 – The Standardbred Retirement Foundation (SRF) program seeks to fill two positions.

Barn Manager-Trainer in Cream Ridge, NJ.

Our candidate should be rescue-minded and compassionate. Some responsibilities include:

• evaluate horses for riding;
• train horses;
• working with potential adopters, and volunteers;
• organize schedules for horses;
• optimize management and efficiency of resident and transient horses;
• maintain a clean and organized barn;
• provide care as needed for injured, and sick horses;
• schedule, and work with the veterinarian, dentist, farrier, and other responsibilities related;

Experience required:

• Minimum of 8 years of horse experience;
• computer experience;
• a pro-active approach;
• proven organizational skills;

The herd feeding is not a responsibility of this position.

Administrative-Full Time-Not Remote

Responsibilities include database management, screening applicants, assisting in event planning, donor communication, marketing, and other related areas. Work with a great team of passionate animal lovers.

Experience required:
