Tattersalls Winter Mixed Sale is canceled

The Tattersalls Winter Mixed Sale, which was to be held Jan. 16 at the Meadowlands, has been canceled due to lack of sufficient harness racing entries.

“This is the company’s most important sale, and it’s certainly unfortunate not to have it this year,” said sale manager David Reid.

He said live sales make up an extremely important part of overall industry commerce, “however, you can’t hold a live sale if you don’t have willing sellers.”

Dates for any future Tattersalls mixed sales will be announced at a later time.
