Forty G’s went straight to the lead and led to the quarter in :28.1. He used a :30.0 second quarter breather to be first to the half in :58.1.  Forty G’s opened up the lead going around the final turn and led to three-quarters in 1:26.4.

As they reached the stretch Forty G’s was easily ahead of the rest.  Second place finisher Lous Lancelot (John MacDonald) and third place finisher Zapaca (Steeven Genois) came flying late but Forty G’s held them off to win in 1:56.2.

Forty G’s is a 4-year-old horse by Muscle Hill. He is owned by Mitchell Frair, Donna Duer, and trainer Roman Lopez.  He is now six for six in 2025.  He has won 11 of his 12 career starts.
