Harness Analyst – Breeders Crown Friday

In harness racing, it all comes down to the Breeders Crown! And we kick it off at Harrah’s Hoosier Park tonight with four two-year-old divisions.

There is a great 15-race card with plenty of multi-leg betting opportunities. As always, good luck with your plays.

(4) EMPIRE BUILDER got a weird trip from the rail as the 4 to 5 chalk at Dayton now he gets Dunn and a good post here. I’ll take a price swing with him in the opener.

Race 2 – 2-6-3-4

(2) ARRIVAL comes off a season’s best effort in Ohio and picks up De Long tonight. She is worth a try here being 12 to 1 in the morning line.

Race 3 – 7-6-2-3

(7) CHASE YOU and (6) ROCKIN NOLA should battle it out here. I’m inclined to side with the mare that offers the higher price when they line up behind the starting gate.

Race 4 – 8-1-9-5

(8) MOMMAMIA VOLO stands out here, but she must stay flat, obviously.

Race 5 – 8-3-4-9

(8) CRUISIN JUKE is in top form and he should be the one to catch in here.

Race 6 – 2-6-3-5

(2) ULTRA IMAGE paced a 53.3 back 1/2 in victory here on 10/19 and he might be able to upset these at a price utilizing that big late kick.

Race 7 – 2-6-5-9

Stablemates (2) ROLLIN’ ROSIE and (6) TELL’S ON A ROLL hook up again and they are likely to finish 1-2 here. I’ll side with the former who will likely race in the latter’s pocket throughout.

Race 8 – 2-4-7-6

(2) TOWN GOSSIP got a perfect trip and perfect drive by Zeron to win here last time and I can see a repeat of that trip materializing here; top call.

Race 9 – 1-3-5-6

(1) DIXIE DREAM is one that I will try at a price here in a wide-open race.

Race 10 – The Breeders Crown Final for 2YO Filly Trotters

(2) BUY A ROUND has shown that she has a nose for the wire and she gets the nod in this contentious field of trotting fillies..

Race 11 – Breeders Crown Final for 2YO Colt and Gelding Pacers

2-1-9-4

(2) CAPTAIN ALBANO has been on a tear leading to this Crown final and he is the one to beat.

Race 12 – Breeders Crown for 2YO Pacing Fillies

2-8-4-1

(2) GEOCENTRIC likely stays undefeated here but she won’t offer much of a price.

Race 13 – Breeders Crown for 2YO Trotting Colts and Geldings

1-5-2-9

(1) KARL draws perfectly here and he should be very tough to beat tonight.

Race 14 – 5-3-1-4

(5) MACS BIG BOY is in a great spot here and he should be tough racing on the engine tonight.

Race 15 – 11-8-5-3

(11) MULL OF KINTYRE shoots for a sixth straight win and he should get it if he can work out a trip from the second tier.
