Eric Raffin piloted the Philippe Allaire owned and trained performer that was bred by J.P. Guay. His earnings advanced to 90,450€. Race time was 1.13.4kr.
The 17/1 Charmant de Zack (3m Vivid Wise As-Martina Grif) was second for trainer/driver Marco Smorgon and owner Renato Bruni. 11/1 Inbreed (3m Neutron du Cebe-Miss Wood) was third for Yoann Lebourgeois and trainer Remy Despras.
The co-feature was the Prix Caecilia (Gr.III, purse 70,000€, 2100 meters autostart, four year olds) and the 1.12.1kr timed winner was 64/1 Hede Darling (4m Password-Queen Darling) when the mid-stretch leading Hermes Pat went offstride. Hede Darling raced on the outer throughout before engaging the leader and then holding the front to the line for owner/driver Jean Pierre Dubois.
Winning driver JPD recorded his 13th driving victory in 2021 from 54 starts. J.A. Hernandez Navarro trains this now five time career winner of 153,130€. Joelle Laroche bred him.
Finishing second at 8.9/1 was Hades de Vandel (4m Ganymede-Silene de Vandel) with Robin Bakker teaming for Stall Why Not and trainer Paul Hagoort. 45/1 Harley de Laumac (4f Prodigioius-Valdiva) took third for trainer/driver Franck Anne.
