Goshen, New York. It is with pleasure that the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame announces that James E. Brooks has been selected to receive the Museumās prestigious Pinnacle Award for his outstanding and longtime dedication to the Museum.
For more than twenty years Brooks has worked with a keen eye and generous heart to build an unparalleled collection of harness racing toys, childrenās books and Americana for the Museum. He has coordinated the funding for a soon-to-be opened exhibit that will showcase toy memorabilia to entertain and educate Museum visitors of all ages. In addition to these efforts he has also remained a steadfast Museum member since 1987 and has supported the institutionās annual Restoration Raffle fundraising initiative.
The Museum is lucky to have Jim Brooks as a part of the harness racing community and as a true champion of the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame. Jim will receive his award at the annual Hall of Fame induction dinner Sunday, July 2, 2023 in Goshen, New York.
