Northfield to offer eight progressive claiming series

MGM Northfield Park has announced the dates of eight progressive claiming series. These harness racing series offer opportunities for owners to place their horses in races with progressive claiming prices and purses.

The late closers start from November 20 through November 23 with base claiming prices of $6,000, $12,500 or $22,500 for distaff and male pacers.

Trotters are offered series with the $12,500 and $22,500 claiming tags.

No pre-nomination is necessary, however there is a one-time entry fee of $100 for the $6,000 series, $200 for the $12,500 series, and $300 for the $22,500 series.
