The Mid-Atlantic Amateur Drivers Club finished their harness racing season on December 19th at Rosecroft Raceway. The club participates at Rosecroft Raceway and Ocean Downs. For the 2023 season, Rosecroft Raceway and MAADC partnered to raise money for industry charities as well as a local charity.
The Club donated over $5,000 to 3 different charities in 2023. Old School Boxing is a 501c3 charity that serves underprivileged children around the Rosecroft area. Old School Boxing provides after-school training, holiday meals, and much more. Maryland Standardbred Horsemenās Assistance Fund is a benevolence fund that provides support to horsemen who race regularly in Maryland and are experiencing times of hardship. As well as the Standardbred Retirement Foundation.
The Mid-Atlantic Amateur Drivers Club also joined Rosecroft Raceway, Ocean Downs, Cloverleaf Standardbred Owners Association, Maryland Standardbred Breeders Association, and Maryland Standardbred Horsemenās Assistance Fund who each donated $1,000, towards the Tioga fire victimsā relief.
The 2024 racing season for MAADC will start shortly after the Rosecroft Raceway Winter meet kicks off on January 18, 2024.
