Grove City, OH – The second Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association harness racing charity night is scheduled for Friday, June 14 at Eldorado Scioto Downs.
Nine charities will participate in the event, each paired with a horse during the 8th race. Each charity will receive a donation from the OHHA for participating. The charity paired with the first-place winner will receive $10,000, second place will receive $5,000, and third place $3,000. All other finishers receive $2,000 donations.
The participating charities will find out which horse they will be cheering for during a live stream on the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association Facebook page on Thursday, June 136 at 1:30 PM.
The participating charities are Boys & Girls Club of Central Ohio, Columbus Schools Special Olympics, Dreams on Horseback, Homes for Families, M.A.S.H. Food Pantry, Ohio FFA Foundation, Open Shelter, PBJ Connections, Pickaway County Community Action (Ohio House), and Saving Grace Therapeutic Riding Center.
