ANDERSON, Ind.— June 23, 2023—Three-year-old pacing fillies were the featured harness racing attraction at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Friday, June 23 as they squared off in the second round of Indiana Sires Stakes action. Two $50,000 divisions highlighted the evening’s 14-race card and it was Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s defending leading trainer and driver who teamed up to sweep both divisions.
In the first division, Rollin Rosie (JK Endofanera—Rock N Roll Baby) delivered as the heavy betting favorite to score in 1:51.1 with driver Trace Tetrick in the bike for trainer Tyler George.
Leaving from post nine, Tetrick sent Rollin Rosie away from the gate just enough to get a spot along the rail in seventh through the opening panel in :27.2. Fortunada and John DeLong were on top before yielding the lead to Polks Image and Kyle Wilfong just before the half in :56.2. As the field approached the third station 1:24.1, Rollin Rosie was on the attack from first-over.
Utilizing a :27 final quarter, Rollin Rosie was able to track down Polks Image and hold off a late surge from Fortunada to get the win. Fortunada was forced to settle for second while Sleazy Mama and Michael Oosting rallied well for third. As the heavy betting favorite, Rollin Rosie returned $3.00 at the betting windows.
ROLLIN ROSIE REPLAY
Rollin Rosie is now two for two this season and eight of nine lifetime. She has now earned $242,500 in lifetime purse earnings for owners Scp Stable Inc., Scott Tyler George and Gregory Samples. Rollin Rosie was bred by Mahlon Lambright.
In the second division, Tetrick utilized similar tactics to steer Tell’s On A Roll (Tellitlikeitis—Have Rock Willroll) to a 1:51.2 victory.
Leaving from post four, Tell’s On A Roll got away fifth through the opening quarter in :27.2. Some Big Dream and Joey Putnam dictated first half fractions of :27.2 and :56 before ever feeling a threat from the rest of the field. Tell’s On A Roll moved first-over and was able to track down Some Big Dream late in the lane. It’s Corona Time and Ricky Macomber Jr. utilized a ground saving trip and rallied well late to get up for second while Some Big Dream held on for third. Tell’s On A Roll returned $3.60 to her backers at the betting windows.

With the victory, Tell’s On A Roll is undefeated in two starts this season. Owned in partnership by Engel Stable Of IL LLC, L.A. Willinger, and Tyler George, Tell’s On A Roll has now banked $30,500 this season. Tell’s On A Roll was bred by Victory Hill Farm. The victory was one of three victories on the evening’s program for driver Trace Tetrick.
Live racing action will continue at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Saturday, June 24 with a 12-race card beginning at 7 pm. Harrah’s Hoosier Park 30th season of live harness racing will feature the richest open stakes schedule to date. Worth over a combined $12 million, the 160-day season will be the most lucrative stakes program in the track’s history culminated by hosting the 40th edition of the Breeders Crown events in October. Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s premier pacing event, the $300,000 Dan Patch Stakes, is slated for Friday, August 11 and the coveted Breeders Crown events will take place on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28.
