Tiktok Roy slingshots to success at Saratoga

Tiktok Roy (Swan In A Million) parlayed his pocket ride to harness racing victory in the Tuesday feature at Saratoga Casino Hotel.

Billy Dobson pilots the four year old trotter for owner Rick Dobson and trainer Monica Krist who have enjoyed a strong season at the Spa. For the fourth consecutive week, Tiktok Roy drew the rail on Tuesday afternoon in the $9,500 feature for high-steppers.

Yielding to the race’s odds-on favorite Mass Cara (Aaron Byron) in the early going, Tiktok Roy sat the two-hole in a first half that went in 58.4 before popping the pocket in the stretch and reeling in the favorite to prevail in 1:58.2 for his sixth win of the season.

Mass Cara finished second while EEE Z Wow (Jay Randall) earned the show spot.

TIKTOK ROY REPLAY

Tiktok Roy paid $10.60 to win. Also on the Tuesday matinee, Hall of Fame driver Wally Hennessey scored a driving triple to add to his career win total that now puts him in the top ten all-time in harness racing history.

The 68 year old reinsman sits second in the local driving standings for the 2024 season. 

Live racing resumes on Saturday evening at Saratoga with a first post time of 5pm. There will be a Pick Five carryover of $4,956 beginning in race one on Saturday. The Jackpot in the Super High 5 is up to $14,502 with the wager offered in Saturday’s finale. The Super High 5 is a 20 cent wager.
