Fourth went to 70/1 Alto de Viette (6m Ready Cash-Mini Ceinture-Dahir de Prelong) with Gabriel Gelormini up for trainer Peter Berycke and Ecurie Masus with fifth to 16/1 Sahara Fairytale (7f Viking Kronos-Sahara Shadow-Graduate Student) for Christophe Martens, trainer Vincent Martens and Manocap AB. Cayenne de Houelle (4f Scipion du Goutier-Imina de la Frette-Carpe Diem) took the Prix de Douai (purse €38,000, 2700 meters, four year-old female starters) timed in 1.15.8kr at 12/1 odds. Pierre Vercruysse teamed the winner for trainer Franck Leblanc and owner Gerard Leblanc. At Berlin-Mariendorf this day was the Prix d’Oberstdorf (purse €5,000, 1900 meters autostart, 11 starters) and the 1.17.9kr winner in the snow was 4/5 favorite Replay Diamant (4f SJ’s Photo-Jeansandatshirt) for driver/trainer Michael Nimczyk and owner St.MS Diamanten. 6.2/1 Herbie Dot (4g Here Comes Joey-Happy Go Lucky) was a close second for trainer/driver Manfred Zwiener with third to 6.4/1 Otti (6f Diamond Way-Victory Serenade).
Michael Nimczyk scored a driving double later in the card teaming 2.2/1 Skyfall (4g Kings Best-Snow Lady-Vision) to victory in the €5,000 Prix Richard Freitag over 1900 meters autostart. Timed in 1.16.9kr this Nimczyk driven winner is owned by Ulrich Mommert.
