Delicious gets Elitloppet invite with win at Bollnas

Delicious earned an Elitloppet invitation today for her victory in a mare's race at Bollnas worth 35,000SEK to the Orjan Kihlstrom piloted winner.

Timed in 1.12kr the seven year-old daughter of Cantab Hall-Ipsara LB-Lemon Dra was the prohibitive favorite in the 1640 meter autostart contest, her fifth straight victory. The 14/1 Talk The Talk (6f Donato Hanover-Letsjusttalkaboutme-Self Possessed) was fourth for Ulf Olsson and fifth went to 32/1 Elles W.Phedo(10f Kesaco Phedo-Elles W.Lolita-Rapido) for Ove A. Lindqvist.

Delicious joins Timoko as the first two to receive Elitloppet invitations. Delicious has a 20-9-7 slate in 45 career starts for earnings of 5,701,572SEK.

The last five Elitloppet winners include Magic Tonight, TYimoko, Nahar, Commander Crowe and Brioni, with the race record of 1.09.5kr held by Timoko.
