Meadows Pick 4 & 5 guarantees

WASHINGTON, PA, Feb. 16, 2015 — On Tuesday, Feb. 17, the live harness racing card at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino will feature two total-pool guarantees — a $5,000 guarantee for the Pick 4 and a $5,000 guarantee for the Pick 5. Both are offered as part of the United States Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering Initiative.

The $5,000 Pick 4 guarantee is a regular feature of Monday and Tuesday programs. The Meadows added the "instant" Pick 5 guarantee after Friday's Pick 5 was uncovered, resulting in a carryover of $1,581.14.

Minimum wager for the Pick 4 (races 4-7) and Pick 5 (races 10-14) is 50 cents. Since Pennsylvania law requires a minimum per-race wager of $2, a player wagering at the 50-cent level must bet at least four tickets.
