Catalogues available for Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale

Catalogues for the Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale, to be conducted by Graeme Board & Company at the Bathurst Showground on Sunday, March 22, are now available.

An integral part of the annual Bathurst Gold Crown carnival, the sale features 207 quality lots from leading breeders and studmasters in New South Wales and Victoria.

Progeny of most of Australasia’s champion sires will go up for auction, including Art Major, Bettor’s Delight, Mach Three, American Ideal, Somebeachsomewhere, Falcon Seelster, Live Or Die and Rocknroll Hanover.

There’s also stock being offered by the promising sires Sportswriter, Rock N Roll Heaven, Always A Virgin, Shadow Play, Art Official, Artistic Fella, Changeover, Mister Big and Million Dollar Cam.

The first Australian crops of former American pacing standouts in Roll With Joe, Big Jim, If I Can Dream, Gothic Dream and Shadyshark Hanover and the colonial-bred champion For A Reason will add interest to the sale.

All yearlings nominated for the sale may be eligible for the Sales Graduate races with $15,000 Finals for two-year-old colts and fillies to be run at Bathurst in February/March 2016.

They are also eligible for the NSW Breeders’ Challenge, Breeders’ Crown, Bathurst Gold Crown, Vicbred and the Breeders’ Challenge Blue Series.
