Hopla des Louanges (4f Gazouillis-Jolie Lily) took this day’s Gr. II Estrier 4 Ans Qualifier #3, named the Prix Lavater (purse 100,000€, monte, 2700 meters for four year olds) clocked in 1.13kr at the Hippodrome-Paris Vincennes. Anthony Barrier was in the irons for trainer Franck Leblanc as this mare, off at 5.4/1 odds, won her third now for 210,050€ earned.

The 5.2/1 Hirondelle du Rib (4f Rolling d’Heripre-Gnemone du Rib) was a head back second for jockey J.L.Cl. Dersoir and trainer Joel Hallais. 37/1 Hollywood Night (4f Boccador de Simm-Night In London) took third for P.Y. Verva and trainer David Armellini.

On the same card was the Prix Marcel Perlborg (purse 53,000€, 2175 meters, three year olds) and 3.5/1 Independancia (3f Ready Cash-Qualita Bourbon) scored by a nose in 1.12.3kr for owner/driver Jean Pierre Dubois and trainer J.A. Hernandez-Navarro.

This was her fourth career victory now for 61,810€ earned. JPD now has 11 driving wins in 2021 from 49 starts.

The 7/1 I Want You (3f Ganymede-Viva la Vida) was a narrowly missed second with Franck Nivard up for trainer Louis Baudron and breeder/owner Etiennette Dubois. 9/1 Inmarosa (3f Amiral Sacha-Varicava) took third money for reinsman Leo Abrivard and trainer L.C. Abrivard.

Several days prior (May 28) at Laval was the Grand Prix de Saint Ouen des Torts (purse 31,000€, 2850 meters voltstart, 7-10 year old Europeans). The 3.5/1 Tjacko Zaz (9g Crazed-Kinoras Zaz-Angus Hall) scored by a neck in 1.14.2kr for driver Nicolas Bazire and trainer Jean Michel Bazire. The Kings Arms/Avesta AM owned campaigner won for the fifth time in France and advanced his life earnings to 200,988€.
