Screen Test finds the line first

SUMMERSIDE, PE – In a slugfest to the finish Screen Test found the line first in the feature race on an action packed Friday evening at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.

With Corey MacPherson in tow, Screen Test battled his way to the wire with a 1:55.4 victory in the featured $3,200 Preferred Pace for trainer Ron Gass and owners Kickin Horse Stable of York and William Andrew of Calgary, Alta. Race favourite Bugsy Maguire (Driven by Myles Heffernan Sr.) finished a length in arrears in second while Chocolate Swirl (Jason Hughes) completed the $194.00 Triactor ticket finishing third.

Hughes had a catch driving triple on the evening winning with Somebodys Me (1:59.3), Traces Of Purple (1:59.1) and Source Of Light (2:00.4).

Trainer Philip Desroche had a pair of winners on the night as Hook Her Boots (David Dowling) opened up the card in 2:01.1 and Power Of A Cruiser (Marc Campbell) captured the finale in 1:58.1.
