Rainbowinthewest was away first for Brian Zendt but released the well-meant Tuesday Morning near the quarter. The 6-year-old daughter of Andover Hall-Miss Milwaukee roared through the Lightning Lane to defeat Harness AM, by 1/2 length in 1:55.2. Tuesday Morning saved show.

Robert Rougeaux III trains Rainbowinthewest, who lifted her lifetime bankroll to $182,160, for Brocious Racing Stable and Lone Wolf Stable.

RAINBOWINTHEWEST REPLAY

In Wednesday’s co-feature, a $10,300 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace, Amelias Courage A pulled off a 12-1 upset for Dan Rawlings, trainer Richard Perfido and owner Win Rhythm Stables. The 7-year-old daughter of Courage Under Fire-American Dreamer prevailed in 1:52 to vault over $200,000 in career earnings.

AMELIAS COURAGE A REPLAY

Elsewhere on Wednesday’s card, Allnight Micki (Downbytheseaside-Allamerican Coed) became the first 2-year-old pari-mutuel winner of the year at The Meadows when she threw down a 27.1 final quarter to hold off Spitting Image (Yankee Cruiser-Janette’s Image) in 1:56.4.  Bet On The Bay (Betting Line-Whos Up Whos Down) completed the ticket. Dave Palone piloted the winner for trainer Tim Twaddle, who owns with Micki Rae Stables.

Chris Shaw collected three wins on the 13-race card.

One winning ticket took down the Super Hi-5, returning $14,468.88.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Thursday, when the 13-race program features a $1,224.31 carryover in the Pick 5 (race 8). First post is 12:45 PM.
