Talented Warrawee Needy colt Uncle Shank made a triumphant winning return to the track at harness racing’s Albion Park on Tuesday (June 15).

The three-year-old led from the outset and proceeded to blitz his rivals, rating 1:55 over 1660 metres with the final 800 in 56.8 seconds.

It was his third success from four lifetime starts.

The world champion Warrawee Needy was also represented by three winners from his first North American crop in Needless To Say (1:52.6), Wine Tyme and Heresthatmanagain.

Smooth Rye, a winner at Gloucester Park in a career-best 1:56.7, continues to fly the flag for Tintin In America. The mare has now won five of her last six outings and eight races lifetime.

Other recent Tintin In America winners included American Flyer NZ, a runaway winner in 1:57.2 at Newcastle, and Wotdidusaaay (1:59.6, Warragul).

Arma Einstein, a three-year-old by Renaissance Man, scored his most important success to date in the $25,000 (Listed) Westsired Classic at Gloucester Park. The gelding rated a slick 1:56.9 over 2130 metres.

Reigning NSW Sire of the Year Million Dollar Cam left winners in both hemispheres last week. Pat McGarry (1:55.6), Deal Breaker (1:59.7) and Chubbs emerged successful in Australia, while Its Only Rocknroll (1:54.2) and Sure Please (1:58.6) scored in New York.
