Drivers recovering from accident

During the 12th race at Ocean Downs on July 5th an accident occurred around the last turn into the stretch, when the 5 horse Brock N Brian spooked and proceeded to fall. This caused a domino effect for the trailing horses.

All drivers are recovering. Sean Bier and Timmy Offutt were both taken by ambulance to a local hospital where both were admitted. Declan Donoway was checked out at the track and drove in the next race.

Sean is recovering from surgery to repair a broken femur. Timmy is currently in the ICU being monitored, he had some bleeding on his brain that has stopped and he has fractured the L2-L3 wings on his vertebrae. Timmy was able to get up and walk this afternoon with assistance.

Both Sean and Timmy are in good spirits. Horses involved in the accident are banged up with various cuts, but they are all recovering.
