Flare Up, a two-year-old filly by Warrawee Needy, and Waiting For Love (by Million Dollar Cam), completed a stud-sired double at Newcastle last weekend. Flare Up, who was bred and raised at Yirribee, won effortlessly by 10 metres in a slick 1:57 on debut.
Other Million Dollar Cam winners were Jamieson Steele (1:54), who came from last to beat a strong field at Bendigo, Milliondollar Wave, a winner in 1:52.8 at Northfield Park, Ohio, and Lucky Millionaire (1:57.2, Buffalo Raceway, New York).
