Alabar is excited to announce that Be Happy Mach will be available to Australian breeders this season.

Be Happy Mach.

Be Happy Mach was a spectacular two-year-old winning multiple Group 1 races on his way to being named Australian Two-Year-Old of the Year.

In his sensational debut season he won 10 of his 11 starts and accumulated $344,215 in earnings. That total makes him the highest ever earning two-year-old sired by his illustrious sire, Mach Three, in the Southern Hemisphere.

He raced in three states and won multiple Group 1 events – the $125,000 NSW Breeders Challenge Final and the $300,000 Australasian Breeders Crown Final.

He also took out the Group 2 Tatlow Stakes in dominant fashion.

His Breeders Crown win was particularly impressive where he exploded away from a strong field to win easily. Behind him that night were eight stakes winners.

After the race, Dan Mielicki stated, “You don’t often see horses put a gap on them so quickly.”

Leading trainer Emma Stewart is effusive in her praise for Be Happy Mach.

“He was an exceptionally talented two-year-old who showed ability from day one,” Stewart said.

“We love the Mach Three’s and Be Happy Mach is a great example of what they can do.”

“He showed toughness to win the NSW Breeders Challenge from the breeze, while in the Breeders Crown final he just blew them away with his speed.”

“He is definitely one of the best two-year-olds we’ve trained.”

An outstanding physical specimen, Be Happy Mach was a $57,500 yearling and he is one of three stakes winners produced from his outstanding dam Behappysam.

Alabar General Manager Brett Coffey is thrilled to be offering Be Happy Mach to breeders.

“Be Happy Mach was a remarkable two-year-old – the best of his generation,” he said.

“He is a truly outstanding type, strong and precocious. He is absolutely going to sire great looking foals.”

“The Direct Scooter line stallions are doing such a good job right now and we see no reason why Be Happy Mach can’t also sire top level performers.”

Be Happy Mach will be offered to Australian breeders at a fee of $2,500 (incl GST).
