As they reached the stretch Agedchedar Hanover desperately needed racing room.Ā Ā Somehow he found an opening in late stretch and came flying at Mighty Santana N.Ā Ā The two geldings hit the line together and settled for a tie in 1:51.4.Ā Ā Just Donāt Wait held for third.

Agedchedar Hanover is a 5-year-old gelding by Betterthancheddar.Ā Ā He is owned by Donald McDonald and trained by Jim McDonald.Ā Ā It was win number two in 2021. And his 12thĀ career trip to the winnerās circle.
Leading driver Wally Hennessey added four more wins to his total giving himĀ 73 wins on the season.Ā Ā Braxten Boyd is second on the list with 43 victories.Ā Ā Mike Merton has reached the winnerās circle 32 times this season for third best.Ā Ā Jody Jamieson (24) and Marcus Miller (13) round out the top five.
