āMy biggest goal right now is to earn my bachelorās and successfully complete the masterās program to land a well-paying job at a prestigious hospital,ā Miss Twaddle reports. āAs a Physician Assistant, I would like to work in the pediatrics field or with neonatal care. This can be achieved by being employed at the UPMC Childrenās Hospital of Pittsburg or UPMC Magee-Womenās Hospital. These two locations will allow me to fulfill my wishes of treating babies and children with the utmost care.ā
Miss Twaddle was named to the Deanās List for her first semester at college, in addition to being an active member of the Gamma Delta sorority, where she participates in their Service for Sight philanthropy, assisting the blind in numerous ways. As well, during her yearsĀ at Canon-McMillan High School,Ā where she maintained a 3.6 GPA, she volunteered at both the Washington Hospital Radiology Department (2016-2020) and Washington Womenās Health Center (2016-2020) and was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Currently, she is a member of her universityās Washington Fellowās Program, where students dedicate themselves to bettering the community through volunteering and outreach.
āMeadow is a very mature, well-rounded young lady with high standards and morals,ā said Pastor Joe DiDonato, The Meadows Racetrack Chaplin. āI have served as the Chaplain for almost 28 years and her family has always been very respected and recognized as very honest, hardworking people. The Twaddle family, including Meadow, has helped our ministry in many ways make it through this very tough year of the pandemic. Meadow continued to excel academically in her first year of college despite all the set-backs and changes this past year has brought.ā
āI have enjoyed a very close relationship with Meadowās parents for more than two decades, and itās a pleasure to witness this young ladyās development,ā said Kim Hankins, Executive Director of the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association. āWith her unparalleled work ethics, Meadow has been a role model to her two younger siblings. She was extremely athletic as she was a key component in capturing the state championship while on the Canon MAC Soccer Team. Meadow had demonstrated leadership skills for five years with the Victory Express Soccer Organization and is the perfect recipient to be awarded HHIās Jerome L. Hauck Scholarship.ā
