More AtSS action to come at Truro

The best Atlantic-sired two year old harness racing colts return to Atlantic Sires Stake Action at Truro Raceway Friday evening.

Two A Divisions are scheduled in Races 5 and 8.

The first A-division on the card for the 2 year old pacing colts is race 5 with Fern Hill Gusto in line to Marc Campbell leaving from post 4. Check Your Source with (Mike Mcguigan) and Woodmere Gaelic ( Brodie MacPhee) are the other top choices. They will be racing for a purse of $9,660.

The second A Division is race 8 and will see Fern Hill General in line to Brodie MacPhee and St Charlesfireball (Marc Campbell) battle to make it two in a row as each won their respective AtSS Divisions in Summerside. Woodmere Bankroll (R Doucet) rounds out the top three pick.

The lone $3,000 B-division of the Sires Stakes is scheduled for Race 3.

Points earned in each Atlantic Sires Stakes trotting event and ‘A’ division pacing event go towards earning a spot in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships.

First Race post time is 5pm.
