Columbus, Ohio—Seven stalwart trotters went to post tonight in a Great Lakes Amateur Drivers Association Trot at Scioto Downs, and when the judges posted the official sign Alesha Binkley emerged victorious after she reined Wittyville to a gate to wire 1:57.4 triumph.
Despite starting from the 6-hole Binkley sent the son of Manofmanymissions to the lead when the gate sprung and she led her competition by that standard in :29.1. Despite Roundtown Rocker (Peter Stratton) being parked the talented lady driver ot her charge by the half in :59.2.
After Wittyville put Stratton’s trotter away Ms Binkley braced for challenges from Backdoor Man (Floyd Rhodes) and Just Joe (Naquel Harvey). However Wittyville was up to the challenges and the veteran trotter proved too hard to overcome and he drew of fto a two-length lead which he carried all the way to the wire.
Backdoor Man finished second and Quick N Balanced picked-up the show dough for Lonnie Graber.
