Pretty Image (Corey Braden) went to the lead and led to the first quarter in :27.0.Ā Ā Sweet Young Thing (Wally Hennessey) took control as they went by the stands for the first time.Ā Ā She led to the half in :55.4 and to three-quarters in 1:24.1.
Shecouldbegood N ($10.20) was fourth at three-quarters.Ā Ā She came first-over as they went around the final turn.Ā Ā The mare blew right on by to take the lead as they reached the stretch.Ā Ā Persistent Bettor (John MacDonald) came charging late but had to settle for second as Shecouldbegood N won in a lifetime best of 1:53.0.Ā Ā Pretty Image finished third.
