CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Taking a perfect pocket ride Dreamfair Zenfire reached up to win the Thursday evening harness racing feature at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Marc Campbell steered his trainee to the 1:55.1 score over Larjon Legacy (Driven by Gilles Barrieau) and Ladylike (Walter Cheverie) in the $3,100 Fillies and Mares preferred pace. Ryan and Everett MacLeod of Souris share ownership of the winning mare.
Campbell also won the $2,700 Open trot from his barn as Freddie hit the wire first in 1:59.1 for owners Three Wisemen Stable of Kingston.
Mark Bradley had a driving triple on the night winning with Mermaid Magic (2:00.2) and Shes In The Moment (1:56.1) for trainer Tom Weatherbie and You Aint Dolly (1:58.2) from the Brendan Curran barn.
Barrieau had two winners from his Mount Herbert stable with Wannashakeyourtree (1:57.1) and Fern Hill Fancy (1:58.4) and won with Clare Hall Hanover (1:59.1) for trainer Ron Matheson.
