Grove City, OH – Ohio 2-year-olds return to action tonight in the Buckeye Stallion Series at the Champaign County Fairgrounds in Urbana, Ohio.
Freshman fillies and trotters will face off with four divisions each while six divisions of freshman colt pacers highlight the 15-race card. First race post time is 6:30 PM. Each race carries a purse of $17,500.
In the 2-year-filly trot, two previous winners are entered with Toes In The Water looking to go three-for-three in BSS action.
The 2-year-old colt pace has six previous winners in action, with Dirge and Move Bythe Spirit hoping to notch their third victory in as many legs.
Six previous 2-year-old colt trot winners will be looking for their second Buckeye Stallion Series victory.
The Buckeye Stallion Series will move to Eldorado Scioto Downs on Wednesday night for five divisions of 2-year-old filly pacers. Seven previous winners are entered with three fillies, Cruzinbytheseaside, Future Ex-Wife, and McAngel, each have wins in the first two legs.
Post time Wednesday night at Scioto Downs is set for 6:15 PM.
OHHA to live stream Champaign County Fair
The Ohio Harness Horsemenās Association (OHHA) will continue its coverage of the 2021 Ohio County Fair racing season with live streaming coverage from the Champaign County Fair in Urbana, Ohio, Tuesday through Thursday, August 10-12.
Tuesdayās card features action in the Buckeye Stallion Series as well as the Richard Buxton Signature Series Trot.
Thursdayās card will feature the Bob Seabrook Signature Series Pace.
Post time each night is 6:30 PM.
The live streams and programs will be available at OHHA.com/livestream.
Replays of the races from Urbana will be available on the Trot and Pace Marketing website,Ā trotandpaceracing.com, following the completion of racing.
The OHHA is scheduled to live stream over 125 race cards from 65 county and independent fairs this summer.
