In the Maryland Sire Stakes for two-year-old pacing colts, reinsman John Wagner tucked Anthony’s All In (Rusty’s All In) the four hole until the 5/8, where the pair circled the field on their way to a 1 ½ length victory in 2:00.1 over Rapid Pulse (Quik Pulse Mindale) in the pacing colt and gelding division. Pam Wagner is the owner-breeder of Anthony’s All In.
Ocean Downs also hosted an exhibition Racing Under Saddle (RUS) event after the sixth race. Sofia Zingale aboard Pappy Go Go crossed the wire a half length ahead of Lionhead with Stephanie Jacobs in the saddle and coming in third was Slated To Win ridden by Maria Buchanan.
The winning time of 2:01.3 was a track record for a RUS event.
