Auckland Reactor left winners in both hemispheres in the space of 24 hours!
Soho Burning Love, the fastest ever Australian-bred pacer, won a $14,800 Conditioned Pace for mares in 1:52.6 at Harrington Raceway, Delaware, USA on Monday (August 23).
The six-year-old led from the outset and scored by open lengths. It was her 23rd lifetime success and lifted her stake tally to beyond $510,000.
Bred by Robert Watson, Soho Burning Love is out of Soho Bordeaux (by Western Terror), the dam also of the flying Persimmon 1:49.8 ($206,406).
Meanwhile, Temora Reactor, a six-year-old gelding, sat parked throughout before his gritty win at Albury (NSW) on Tuesday night (August 24).
The gelding picked himself up from the canvass after being headed in the last 50 metres.
Bred and raced by Garry Harpley, who also trains and drives him, Temora Reactor is from the unraced Brioso Hanover mare Maid Of Misfortune, who left an earlier winner in Pamplona.
Temora Reactor has now won eight races and almost $70,000 in stakes.
As at August 25, Auckland Reactor had sired 88 individual winners in Australia this year and they have earned $1.23 million in stakes.
