The French stallion Quaker Jet, a member of the Haras Des Trotteurs sire roster, has enjoyed a purple patch with his progeny in the last 10 days.
Quaker Jet left four winners ā all from his first Australian crop ā including the outstanding mare Im Ready Jet, the tough winner of the Group 3 Garrardās Maoriās Idol Free-for-all at Kilmore.
The four-year-old, already a thrice Group 1 winner, sat parked throughout the 1690 metres, rating 1:57.5 and sending her stakes total beyond the $200,000 plateau.
Elegant Jet and Night Whisperer, both winners at Ballarat, and Quake Proof, a very impressive winner at Bendigo, were other recent winners sired by Quaker Jet.
Quaker Jet has sired 12 individual winners and three placegetters from 17 starters in his first Australian crop of 24 foals.
Love You, the sire of Quaker Jet, was represented by the three-year-old Sweet On You, who came off 20 metre handicaps to score at Cobram and Bendigo. The gelding has won four of his seven outings this season.
Used To Me and Orlando Vici, who are also part of the Haras Des Trotteursā team, both left ānewā three-year-old winners recently.
Used To Me, the sire of 11 winners from 16 Australian-bred runners, was represented by the runaway Ballarat winner Enlightened Gift, while Orlando Vici sired the Melton winner Ollivici, the result of Orlando Viciās single service in 2016 in New Zealand.
