He is known as ‘Frank The Tank’ and For A Reason’s progeny certainly went into battle strongly last week.
The stallion had a stellar 24 hours with his offspring on track with five individual winners at four different tracks across two states.
For A Reason is now the second top three-year-old sire in New South Wales this season with 29 wins in that age group in that state alone.
One of those three-year-olds is Uptotrix, which started the winning ways for his sire when winning at Tamworth last Thursday week
The gelding broke his maiden at start six .
It was only a few hours later For A Reason sired another winner, this time at Redcliffe when three-year-old gelding Whatta Good Reason saluted the judge for the fourth time in his career.
Success continued for For A Reason at Penrith later that night where he sired a double.
The first to win was three-year-old filly The Amber Hare who broke her maiden at her fourth start in a mile rate of 1:58.4.
For A Reason’s double was brought up with two-year-old filly Paintmeareason, who now boasts record of two wins and as many placings in six starts.
The following day at Newcastle, For A Reason had yet another winner, this time with the two-year-old filly Mystical Jazz That clocked 1:58.7.
