Grove City, OH – The Buckeye Stallion Series will make up half of the 16-race card at Eldorado Scioto Downs Saturday, September 11. There are five harness racing divisions of 2-year-old colt pacers and three divisions of 3-year-old filly pacers will go to the gate for the fourth leg of the BSS. Each race will have a purse of $17,500.
Eleven of the forty colt pacers entered have wins in the Buckeye Stallion Series.
Moved Bythe Spirit (Western Vintage) will look to remain perfect. The Timothy Lane trainee has wins in the first three legs.
Two others, Dirge (McArdle) trained by Brian Brown and Western Ready (Western Vintage) trained by Scott Ferguson have victories in two of the first three legs.
Other winners in the series include Self Made (Fear The Dragon), Xenia (Racing Hill), Shane Falco (Racing Hill), Gratified (Domethatagain), Parklane Hill (Racing Hill), Robin’s Art (Art Official), Western Depth (Western Vintage) and Fear No More (Fear The Dragon).
The filly Pacers drew twenty-eight with eight having scored wins in the series.
The only double winner is Pompatuse Of Love (Mr Wiggles) trained by Kimberly Dailey.
The other seven winners include Heavenissofaraway (Racing Hill), Pal O Mine Hanover (Western Vintage), Cousin Margie (McArdle), Disaronno Hill (Racing Hill), Finesse (Western Vintage), Diamond Official (Art Official), Saddle Up N Cruise (Yankee Cruiser) and Nora Tova (Western Terror).
First race post time at Eldorado Scioto Downs is set for 6:15pm.
The fifth leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series is set for the Delaware County Fair, September 19-23.
