Renaissance Man.

The Art Major horse Renaissance Man, a Derby winner and Sires Stakes champion who is now standing at Yirribee Pacing Stud in the NSW Riverina, produced three winners from his first Western Australian crop in the space of five days.

They included My Prayer, a five-year-old mare, who tipped her stake earnings over the $130,000 mark with a brilliant come-from-behind effort in 1:56.6 at Gloucester Park on Saturday night (September 11).

Medieval Man, who overcame a 30 metre handicap at Pinjarra, and Apologize (Northam) have been other recent winners sired by Renaissance Man.

Billy Bourne, a two-year-old colt bred and raced by Yirribee Pacing Stud, became the latest winner sired by the world champion Warrawee Needy when he emerged successful in a slick 1:56 on debut at Wagga.

Fear The Queen, a two-year-old filly from the first crop of the North America Cup hero Fear The Dragon, hoisted a fresh lifetime mark of 1:55.4 winning at Northfield Park, Ohio. Fear The Dragon has sired 25 in 2:00, seven in 1:55 and the winners of $720,000 to date.

Other stud-sired winners for the week were For Tony NZ (by Tintin In America) and Tallaringa Harms (by Million Dollar Cam), who won in a career-best 1:56.1 at Newcastle.

Renaissance Man, Warrawee Needy, Fear The Dragon, Tintin In America and Million Dollar Cam are members of the Yirribee Pacing Stud sire roster for the 2021/22 season.
