This day’s program of classic races was highlighted by the Jozsef Marschall Memorial (purse 9,000,000HUf, 25,749€, 1800 meters autostart, Gr. III). Prosperous (7g Prodigious-Glorify-Super Arnie) scored timed in 1.12.7kr and off at 2/1 odds, for reinsman Dominik Locqueneux and trainer Henk A.J. Grift.

Draviet Stables of the Netherlands owns this winner that was bred by Jan Johansson. Mauglie (5g El Nino-Manisha Vita-Zerberus) was second for trainer/driver Janko Sagaj. Third home was Alfa Boy (5m Racino-Chippychip GT-Defi d’Aunou) for Csaba Lakatos and trainer Tibor Hajnal.

On the fine undercard was the Hungaria DIJ (purse 4,000,000HUf, 2560 meters distance handicap) with victory to the 6.6/1 odds Bonaparte Boss (4g Napoleon-Nikita-Crown Sweep) clocked in 1.18kr and reined by trainer Veljko Mazsity for Hico Versenyistallo Bt.

This was his fourth 2021 win in seven starts. Borutka (4f Illetmeny-Night Lady-Tony Oaks) took second for Csaba Lakatos and trainer Tibor Hajnal. Brenno Laumar (4g Varenne-Sweetmovie Laumar-Ganymede) was third for trainer/driver Vladimir Ppribic of SRB. These top three finishers overcame 40 meter handicaps.

In the Istvan Szegedy Memorial (purse 1,200,000HUf, 1900 meters autostart) the 2/1 odds Zante Font (6f Quaker Jet-Life Together-Uronometro) scored in 1.14.7kr for trainer/driver Goran Zolnaji.

Stabke Deak owns this now two time 2021 winner in ten starts. 14/1 Alexander UR (7g Infinitif-Hoirt Toity Face-Egon Lavec) was a distant second for Fabrice Souloy, Prolongo and trainer Jozsef Rutkai. Third was Adriana Asti

Earlier in the Laszlo Fekete Memorial (purse 700,000€, 1800 meters autostart) went to 2.8/1 Zente (6g Frullino Jet-Jasmin Diamant-Sugarcane Hanover) for amateur pilot Tamas Tanczer and trainer Zoltan Horvath.

Clocked in 1.17.9kr. Zlatan LIW (6g Miguel Duhamel-Jeanne Sun-Grundy’s Ebony) was a distant second for Arpad Lakatos and third home was Violetta (7f Racino-Franciska-Witsend’s Speedy) for driver Antun Horvatski
