Diamant de Treabat wins at Vincennes

Diamant de Treabat (8g Kuadro Wild-Sud Africa) gamely held on to win the Prix Alfred Lefevre (monte, purse 80,000€, 2850 meters distance handicap, 5-10 year old Europeans) at Vincennes-Paris at 6.1/1 odds and timed in 1.13.8kr for jockey Clement Frecelle.

This veteran is owned and trained by Pascal Monthule and he recorded his 10^th career victory now for 522,960€ earned. The 4.4/1 Gabiano (5g Brutus de Bailly) was a close second for Alexandre Abrivard and trainer Bruno Bourgoin. Third home was 4.3/1 Boston Terrie (10g Kesaco Phedo) with Alexandre Argot in the irons for trainer/owner Melvin Kondritz.

Sunday at Vincennes will have on stage two Gr. I events and a Gr. III test for European three year olds.
