CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Flying at the end of the mile, Moonwriter and harness racing driver David Dowling were grinning for their photo in the Saturday afternoon featured pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Unhurried at the start, Moonwriter got away third in the $3,200 preferred pace and sat chilly for the duration before reaching up in the final strides to win by a neck in 1:55 for Dowling, trainer Colin Johnson and owner Debbie Element of Village Green. Second was Cowboy Logic (Driven by Steven Shepherd) with Screen Test (Corey MacPherson) completing the triactor.
