The Changeover gelding Justanextragrand further underlined his potential when he won the SA Sires Produce Stakes at Globe Derby Park on Saturday night (October 16).
The three-year-old pinged straight to the front and, after being sternly tested in the middle stages, ran out a convincing winner in a career-best 1:56.9 for 1800 metres.
It was his fourth success on end and his seventh from 14 starts this season.
Smooth Overarm, a New Zealand-bred son of Changeover, emerged successful at his first start on Australian soil at the Bathurst midweek meeting, leading from end-to-end and earning a new speed badge of 1:55.4. He has now won 10 races.
Other recent winners by Changeover have been Honour Before Glory NZ, a winner in 1:56.6 at Shepparton, Overpowering (2:00, Globe Derby Park) and Jimmy Arma (Oamaru, NZ).
Changeover, who has sired the winners of $1.1 million in Australia this season, stands at Burwood Stud in Queensland.
