New fall series at Summerside

The PEI Harness Racing Industry Association (PEIHRIA) has announced a new fall harness racing series to be held at Summerside Raceway.

The series will be called the PEIHRIA Go The Distance Series and is for horses that are five years old and over who are non-winners of $3,000 in 2021 and have raced a minimum of 10 starts on PEI in 2021.

Declare by Thursday, Oct. 21 at 9 a.m.

Eliminations are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 25, with the $2,500 consolation and $4,000 final to be held on Monday, Nov. 1.
