Dover Downs opens it’s 83 night harness racing season on Monday, November 1 with enhanced
wagering options.
There will be all Pick 3’s, Pick 4’s and Pick 5’s featuring 100% carryovers. The Pick 5 offers a 15% takeout.
A new 50 cent Pentafecta wager also features a 100% carryover. The wager is offered on the last race nightly.
After opening night Monday at Dover Downs, the live racing will be conducted Monday thru Thursday. First race post is 4:30 pm.
The Matron Stakes return on Thursday November 4th for 2 year old trotters and pacers. The 3 year old trotters and pacers take their cue the following week on Thursday November 11th.
The Delaware Standard Breeders Fund for 2 year old trot and pace eliminations will race from November 8 thru November 17 and will carry a $20,000 purse.
The two year old $100,000 Finals will race November 22 thru 24.
The Delaware Standard Breeders Fund eliminations for three year old pacers and trotters race November 29 thru December 9 for a purse of $20,000.
The $100,000 three year old Finals will race on December 16.
In the spring of 2022, Delaware Standard Breeders Fund Overnight Series are scheduled to compete March 21 thru March 31.
Dover Down’s signature race “The Progress Pace” will return with elimination previews on Wednesday November 17.
The Progress Pace Final will be on Wednesday November 24. The final will carry an estimated purse of $300,000.
Dover Downs will be broadcast in HD, with TVG slated to carry the product throughout the season.
