Boca Raton, FL – The Uncle Peter 4-year-old Big Box Hanover 3,1:55h ($347,190) sold Friday (Nov. 5) at onGait.com for $121,000 to Katricia Adams of Pennsylvania. Coming off a second-place finish in the Yonkers Open Handicap Trot last week for the Shane Tritton barn, he was consigned by the partnership of Bruce Soulsby and Dalton Walls of Ohio.
On Monday afternoon (Nov. 1), Always A Miki p,2,1:50.2 ($398,982) was the second highest auction of the week. The 3-year-old son of Always B Miki, trained by Nancy Takter and consigned by Christina Takter of New Jersey, Goran Anderberg of Sweden, Herb Liverman of Florida and Rojan Stables of Delaware, brought a winning bid of $102,000 from Maine’s Joe Trice. And Locatelli 3,1:51.1 ($185,933), also leaves the Nancy Takter barn after selling to Anthony MacDonald’s The Stable for $93,000. The Muscle Hill 3-year-old gelding was sold by Black Horse Racing of New Jersey, John Fielding of Ontario and
Steve Heimbecker of Ontario.
Among the horses presently in the ring are French Shaker p,3,1:54f ($63,493), a Bettor’s Delight 3-year-old filly racing at Yonkers; and a pair from the Tony Alagna barn – Bali Beach p,3,1:53.4f ($18,673), a race ready Somebeachsomewhere 3-year-old and Keystone Catalyst p,3,1:53.3f ($19,450), a race ready Betting Line 3-year-old.
