Down Under Winners with Carter Dalgety

Top down under pacer returns to the harness racing winners circle.

Down under pacer Stars Align A was seen winning in fine style on Sunday at Harrah’s Philadelphia Chester. The Art Major stallion and favourite for the race started from gate 5 with Simon Allard in the race bike. The pair found themselves in a beautiful trail behind the second favourite for the whole journey, except for in the stretch when Stars Align A was guided into clear air and set sail from the field to clock a comfortable victory in 1:50.3.

Jennifer Bongiorno is the current trainer of the winner of the $16,200 pace and has guided Stars Align A to many of his previous victory’s as well. Impressively the down under pacer has won well over $600,000 in stake earnings and while racing in New Zealand and Australia placed second in two Group 1 races. Before heading the America and clocking a lifetime mark of 1:48.0.
