Fashion Forever’s 62-1 upset in Wednesday night’s (December 15) eighth race trot at Yonkers Raceway was the key to the 50-cent Pick 5 wager going unsolved.
As a result, there will be a $4,334.15 carryover and a $15,000 guaranteed pool in the sequence on Thursday night (December 16).
For Fashion Forever, a six-year-old gelded son of Credit Winner, he was driven by Steve Smith and was in sixth place at the top of the stretch and closed with a burst of speed to pass by the field and win by three-quarters of a length in 1:58 and paid a whopping $126.50 to win for trainer Karen Garland.
