Reinsman Cameron Hart may be missing from the New South Wales formguides for the next couple of days yet has a strong enough lead in the New South Wales Driversā Premiership to take the title.
Hart is sitting at the top of the premiership with 174 winners this season with his closest rival, Jack Callaghan, with 156 winners.
The 22-year-old drove a double at Menangle last Saturday night. It was the last metropolitan meeting of the year in NSW, however, Hartās result was not enough to claim that top title which went to reinsman Luke McCarthy who took out the Metropolitan Driversā Premiership with 55 wins.
Hart was in second having driven 49 metropolitan winners this season.
In the Metropolitan Trainersā Premiership it came down to the wire with Belinda McCarthy and Jason Grimson both sitting on 43 winners each heading into last Saturday night’s final metropolitan meeting for the season.
McCarthy trained a double and Grimson one winner, giving McCarthy the top honour with 45 winners at Menangle for the term and Grimson 44.
McCarthy also has the lead in the NSW Trainersā Premiership with KerryAnn Turner in second place with 16 NSW meetings to go this year.
