A double at Riverina Paceway last week saw one of the region’s leading drivers Blake Jones reach a century of wins for the season.

The result gave Jones 101 winners for the term, the fourth time he has driven more than 100 winners in a season.

Only seven other drivers in New South Wales have driven more than a century of winners this season so far.

Fellow Riverina reinsman Jackson Painting is just behind Jones in the New South Wales Drivers’ Premiership, sitting on 99 winners for the year.

Painting has three drives at Riverina Paceway on Tuesday night and could pass a century of wins, a feat he has achieved twice in his career.

As for Jones, he has drives in five of the eight races at Wagga on Tuesday night.
