Major stud supports SA BOTRA’s 100th anniversary

Cobbitty Equine Farm, one of Australia’s premier standardbred nurseries, has thrown its support behind SA BOTRA’s 100^th Anniversary Meeting at Globe Derby Park on Saturday, January 22.

The farm has donated a service to the Victoria Cup winner, 3YO of the Year and emerging sire For A Reason to the winners of the Mares’ Final.

As well, Garrard’s Horse & Hound, Australasia’s largest stockists of specialty equine products, has agreed to sponsor the 3YO Cup Final on the same night.

The expected nine race program also features the Minor Derby Free-for-all, the Fred Jones Trotters Cup and the finals of five other races.

Former champion SA horseman Ross Sugars, a past president of BOTRA, will be the special guest on the night.
